I'm an internal medicine physician with a background in electrical engineering and computer graphics. My interests include quality improvement, clinical research, and using technology thoughtfully to improve patient care.
Before medicine, I worked in technology, including at Lucasfilm. That experience shaped how I think about complex problems by bringing together technical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, an approach I continue to bring to medicine today.
Adam's Auto is a single-page, responsive website that showcases pertinent information of a small business. The site utilizes front-end technologies and is responsive.
A JavaScript OOP project that allows multiple instances of a Carousel object. It utilizes an MVC framework and supports AJAX calls to Flickr API.
A web app that shows information for any US state using plain JavaScript without jQuery. When a user provides an input, the JavaScript code will make an AJAX request to the server. The app also features an interactive SVG map.
An organization website that utilizes Google Docs as a back-end. The information from the Google Document is fetched via jQuery and then delivered as JSON.
A computer graphics project using C++ and OpenGL. Laws of Physics were followed in developing the code, such as using spring constant and acceleration/deceleration.
Worked on lighting and animation of CGI (computer-generated imagery) assets for Star Wars: The Clone Wars at Lucasfilm.
I wrote JavaScript code for this mobile webpage to handle touch events (eg, swiping up) and allow for interaction on cellphones or tablets. And when the webpage is viewed on a desktop computer, the interface falls back to support mouse events (eg, click and drag).
A collection of large-format observational drawings created in a variety of traditional media. Each piece was drawn from life using direct observation of live models, objects, or architectural subjects rather than photographs.
